| Extended One Year Warranty on your Cameras
All cameras on this site come with standard manufacturers warranty of 12 months. PROTECT your INVESTMENT! You can extend the standard warranty period 1, 2, 3 or 4 extra years by purchasing extended warranty. We have arranged to provide this service through Phototechnical Services.
A warranty certificate will be mailed to you separately (Warranty Certificates are processed after the end of the month).
Extended Warranty is an extension of the manufacturer’s normal warranty. Depending on the period chosen, it offers 1, 2, 3 or 4 extra years warranty coverage. If your equipment does not function properly during the warranty period due to defects in material or workmanship, Phototechnical Services will either repair or replace the equipment without charge, subject to the conditions and limitations stated herein.
Please note: Warranty Certificates are printed and dispatched along with purchased camera
WARRANTY COVERAGE:
This warranty covers all parts and labour on your digital camera for one year from the end of the manufacturers standard warranty. The equipment will be guaranteed to operate properly according to manufacturer’s specifications or we shall repair your equipment to operate properly at no charge to you.
Extended warranty is not valid for a Video cameras that uses tapes and for Digital SLR only 1 lens is covered.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY:
This warranty does NOT apply if it is shown that the defect or malfunction was caused by:
Misuse and abuse
Tampering
Alterations and modifications
Damage as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operations
Removable batteries and damage caused by leakage of those batteries
Accessories that are NOT covered under the terms of the warranty include flashes, batteries, power adapter, digital media, software, LCD, lenses and additional accessories, other expenses or consequential damages.
If you should require any service or repair under your warranty plan, it must be delivered post paid and insured with your:
Warranty registration number (serial number)
Owner’s name,
Dated proof of purchase and
Description of the difficulties encountered
Warranty service will NOT be provided without dated proof of purchase.
Should you need to return the equipment to Phototechnical Services , Phototechnical Services is not responsible for the loss or damage of equipment while in transport. You may, at your option, choose to insure equipment for loss or damage with the carrier of your choice. |
